Ronald R. Carlyle is a Senior Superintendent specialized in golf course agronomy, maintenance, construction, renovations, grassing, grow-ins, and professional tournament preparation. Practiced in developing and implementing regional and international maintenance programs for major organizations.
Ronald Carlyle is the founder of Carlyle Golf Course Services in the United States and Carlyle Ltd, in Taiwan. Having over 35 years of turf experience in the turf maintenance field, including 27 years’ experience in Asia. Ron leads a team of highly successful superintendents, who though his direction has produced many of the regions finest turf surfaces. Currently involved with multiple clients throughout SE Asia. Running course maintenance programs at courses aged from 1 to 100 years.
Ron is a graduate of Horry Georgetown Technical College in the Turfgrass Management Program. While at HG TECH, South Carolina State Governor Carroll A. Campbell Jr. recognized Ron as the Most Outstanding Student in Golf and Tourism. Ron was awarded the Tourism Student Award offered by the South Carolina Travel and Tourism Coalition, graduating first in his class.
He considers his biggest accomplishment as having trained hundreds of men and women who went on to be successful golf course superintendents, club managers and general managers.
Robert S. Carlyle is a Superintendent with experience in Golf Course Maintenance, Professional Tournament Set up and Hosting, and Golf Course Construction. Gained experience in new turfgrass management technologies and practices.
Graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Turfgrass Management as well as Graduate of the University of Tampa in International and Cultural Studies. Robert has gained experience working on several PGA Tour Golf Courses such as The Greenbrier, and Twin Eagles Golf and Country Club. Robert was involved in the agronomic decisions of several internationally televised PGA events.
Robert’s experience in Asia consists of working at Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club in Hong Kong, where he was successful working to elevate the golf membership’s experience as well as working with a Golf Course Construction Company in Hong Kong Project Managing retaining walls on Golf Course Ponds.
